Self-Awareness: Life Is a Hero's Journey -- By Valencia Ray, MD

We human beings love stories. One of the all-time favorite themes is 'The Hero's Journey'. Adventure stories and lessons from fairy tales were, and still are, at the top of my list of favorite movies, books, and conversations. This is why movies like "The Hobbit," "Lord of the Rings," and even more contemporary movie settings in the 'adventure' genre are so popular. Too often we only live vicariously through the movies and lives of others. We see this journey in others, yet remain blind to our own personal hero or 'shero' journey.
A facet of self-awareness is recognizing that we are all on this journey. Our lives are an adventure of self-discovery, other-discovery, and life-on-earth discovery. This includes the work we do in the world. Do you perceive your work as a hardship or a place to uncover your true potential? Do you see it as stressful or simply a challenge to expand your vision for your life? How you perceive yourself and your experience will determine how you respond to it-to your life.
We are all a hero on a journey, and our journey defines our message. Take notes along the way so you can then share your lessons.
I see a lot of unhappiness coming across the airways. I hear messages about what's wrong with us. There are an awful lot of people at the office, as well as generally, scrambling to 'fix' themselves in some way, shape, or form. Here's a novel thought: do you ever think about the fact that you are simply on a Hero/Shero Journey?
Just pretend for a moment; use your imagination. What would your attitude be if you saw challenge as an opportunity to grow your mind, your heart, and your will? What if you focused on what you have learned and live in a state of gratitude instead of fear? Courage is overcoming this fear in our minds, which is where it begins and can end.
Unless a wild animal is chasing you or you are really in a state of threat from external aggression, stress and misery are generally self-inflicted. We have not realized the power of our own mind. Hence, most people are not very self-aware at all. In fact, research reveals that 95% of what is running the vast majority of people's lives is out of their conscious awareness. We can now change this. We can learn how to optimally operate our amazing brain. It is much easier now than even a decade ago. And we have incentive to do it.
We need to rise to the occasion at the office and at home. Our creativity and constructive influence depends on this self-awareness. Our leadership skills and relationships depend on it. Even our health depends on it. And so does our future.
Here are 5 tips for facing and embracing your own hero's journey to reaching more of your own true potential. This is what our journey is really all about: unfolding who you really are at your core, that place of gold and greatness within you waiting to be expressed. Personal growth and expansion happen through experience and in relationship to others, not sitting locked away on a mountaintop.
#1. Muster up your Courage. A hero or 'shero' must have courage to slay the so-called monsters in their path. You will be uncomfortable. Pack up and go home if you think you won't be challenged.
#2. Get a Clear Vision. Where do you want to go? Your brain and mind need a clear target or else you will wanderer through the forest of life, stumbling and lost. You will be an easy target for distraction for other people's agendas.
#3. Be Willing to Ask Questions. Ask the Universe questions like, "Why, How and When?" Timing can be everything, so be patient. Patience is power. And taking action takes courage. You need persistence and passion, patience and perseverance. Stop thinking you already have all the answers. Retrain your brain to act more wisely.
#4. Be Willing to Make Mistakes. Fear of making mistakes is way overrated and is a big example of lack of self-awareness. Mistakes are just about learning. The sooner leaders and society get this, the sooner we can embrace change and growth. Denial (in this case pronounced 'Da Nile') can then just be a river in Africa instead something that floods and drowns out your gifts and true talents. Lighten up!
#5. Celebrate your Successes. Pause and give yourself a pat on the back instead of berating yourself to go do more - and more and more. It's a hollow victory if you can't slow down to savor and enjoy the fruit of your efforts.
Life truly is a journey. There is no destination. I have consciously lived through several-and am in the midst of yet another-hero journeys. I've become comfortable with change. I'm stronger, happier, and wiser. I'm more confident and peaceful because I reached for self-awareness. I accept myself and love and like who I am now, not 'when I get there'.
Self-awareness is true power, not that wimpy bully fake stuff that is pushed off as power over others. It takes courage to own your power - the power of your own mind. Know who you are. Be YOU, Magnificently! Enjoy your journey.

The Consciousness Trap Will Make You Regress Spiritually - Avoid It -- By Scott Petullo Co-Author: Stephen Petullo

In your pursuit of spiritual awareness, you may have embraced the "consciousness" movement. After all, it sounds good, right? Become more conscious of yourself, humanity, and the environment, and strive to better the planet.
However, what you may not realize is that to many advocates, "consciousness" includes destructive economic and political policies.
You're Not Alone if You've Fallen For it
Many people have become ensnared in the consciousness trap. The music -to-your-ears cosmic messages, on the surface, appear to be beneficial for humanity and the planet. Some are, some aren't.
Aside from the feel-good New Age messages about spiritual enlightenment, it's very common for consciousness advocates to portray American capitalism as a very bad thing, as if they really want to destroy the American system. This is troubling, because contrary to extreme left political ideology, small businesses (defined as fewer than 500 employees) drive the economy, creating approximately 70% of the jobs.
That's free enterprise, free trade among honorable American citizens, and it's very unfortunate that the consciousness radicals, instead of focusing on the real problem, big government and big corporation collusion, and crony corporatism, these jokers target the American free enterprise system as a whole, the very thing that has made America and much of the rest of the world prosper.
Take away the economic growth engine of capitalism, and you won't have time to concern yourself with consciousness, because your days will be consumed with trying to meet your basic survival needs.
Don't believe us? Go live in North Korea for a while and experience firsthand a communist country. We doubt you'll be jumping on the "let's hate America and the capitalist system" bandwagon after that trip.
It's reminiscent of the 1960s radicals who raged against the American system, but never offered any viable solutions, though the dark side of this movement is much more covert and underhanded.
A consciousness red flag would be something like this: "(A political candidate) has more compassion for all living beings than (the other political candidate), so you must vote for him."
You won't ever get a real sense about a candidate's level of compassion from what they read from the teleprompter, and your interpretation of their intent behind their policies is likely subjective. This is where critical, objective analysis is so important. Sadly, the majority of people are not interested in or simply not capable of it.
How to Navigate the Consciousness Trap
The true meaning of consciousness is self-awareness through identifying and rising above fear-based attachments, including all bias and intolerance. In doing so, you see the world as it really is, and you'll more likely perceive the truth and lies about each individual political issue.
Daily meditation helps a lot in achieving a clearer state of awareness, especially for those who struggle with impartiality and a reasonable sense of discernment.
Watch for These Types of Bogus Phrases to Help You Identify Phony Consciousness Initiatives
1. You must forgo your individuality for global unity (a "One World Government" slogan).
2. There has never been a better time to open up to universal consciousness.
3. We are moving from duality consciousness to unity consciousness and those who refuse to make the leap with us will be left behind. Stepping through the gateway with us will activate your higher purpose.
4. Once unity consciousness is achieved peace and prosperity will reign forever.
5. You will be able to elevate your spiritual vibration, shed your karma, and ascend beyond the polarity of this dimension (not unless you're Buddha or Jesus, or otherwise have earned avatar status!).
The future of humanity is not at risk, there are no critical crossroads, and if you follow the advice above, you'll never get caught in the consciousness trap again.

An Article on Self Awareness -- By Henry M. Piironen

When one neuron in our brains has the capacity to produce thousand connections with other neurons, the amount of possible connections is more than the universe has atoms. As you can imagine, in this complexity the self-awareness cannot be too simplistic to be expressed as being composed of only one factor, but from many.

   1. What is self-awareness? Self-awareness is commonly seen as something that is separate from the thoughts that emerge to our mind. It has also been considered as the area where we are aware of our own existence. And, when the content of our awareness is the substance of our conscious existence, we cannot separate thought, emotion, reason, or innate instincts from the domain of our self-awareness. It is also the area of our being where we reflect the set of our personal beliefs of existence. After our births, we gain these beliefs from the modern content of this realm, and yet, these beliefs can originate from thousands of years from the past. You can reflect your self with the standards of the society, or expectations you have created for you. The self-awareness is also characterized as the experience of our continual being in constantly exceeding present time. In essence, the transient experiences of our self and the experiences we go through.

  2. What is representational self-awareness? We have the tendency to reflect our own being with such representations as what we consider as heroic or what we admire. It is useful to identify self with good characteristics when we are still growing, since they are then more probable to grow into us. Howard Bloom, for instance, who has been compared with Einstein, Newton, Hawkins, and Buckminster Fuller, said that one of the reasons for his genius is in that he held various intellectual giants as his role models. This caused him to mirror, or in his words, to ape their behavior as he considered them as the A-packs. These reflections can however cause anxiety because the person identifies himself or herself with negative self-reflections. And it is only natural, since one is seeing images that are far from being pleasant. They can be hypochondriac in content, caused by all the millions of details of psychological well-being taught to an individual by the media. And if such a state becomes chronic, it is learned behavior, from which one must relearn away. We can also be self-aware in fantasized content and live through fantasized roles in life. We can identify our self with fantasized beings, or identify our self with the fantasized character that has existence only in our own domain, similar to dreaming. The representational self-awareness is what we reflect our own self in the content of representations.

   3. What is emotional self-awareness? There is not a moment when you would not feel any emotion. They appear also in such forms as instinctively sensing that something is good, or there is something wrong. They appear in the form of needs we often base our choices. Being self-aware of emotions intensifies the experience of them. In contrast, if we are in the state when time seems to pass rapidly, focused for example to writing, we are less self-aware of our emotions as our attention is directed elsewhere. The emotions tell us when everything runs smoothly as they should. We experience that we are conflicted with something, causing us to settle or solve matters between others. Emotions and instincts are also something we should trust our choices with, despite the modern tendency to say the rational decisions are the best decisions. The rational decisions have their time and place, but the capacity of the subconscious can be compared with a standard late 20th century computer and a modern supercomputer in processing capacity. Being too self-aware of one's own emotions can also intensify the negative emotions, causing a cycle of intensifying anxiety, leading to anxiety attacks.

   4. What is semantic self-awareness? Semantic can be defined in simple terms as a meaning of something. We can become self-aware of what we are by giving ourselves a variety of different meanings. They depend on the circumstances, actions we have taken, or when we are expressing ourselves with language or intuitively understanding different meanings of what we are through reflections. In both, positive and negative content. We also gain semantic self-awareness from the opinions of others about ourselves again in both, positive and negative.

5 . What is a physiological self-awareness? Focus your attention to the middle of your right arm, and sense what you feel from it. That is what physiological self-awareness is all about, how we sense our physiology in all its extent. Various relaxation records use this in that they make people self-aware of various parts of the body, and speak on how it begins to relax, thus using suggestion. This may result in effect, if not resisted consciously, to the spoken area to begin to relax. Coordination of the body is based on similar control we have over our body.

We can increase this capacity by exercising yoga, martial arts, survival training, dancing or for instance different sexual techniques in adult life.

Mindfulness and Consciousness As Paths To Self-Awareness -- By Suzanne E Harrill

Recently, I was interviewed for an on-line radio show; the topic of discussion was awareness and mindfulness as paths to consciousness. Here are the questions and my answers. May my answers be food for thought and allow you to more deeply ponder your own life.
The first question asked me to talk about self-awareness from my perspective and why it is important. My answer: Let me start by defining awareness. It is everything that has brought you to this present moment-your beliefs, emotions, feelings, and reactions to all your life experiences. Awareness includes everything you have taken in and are taking in with your five senses: sight, sound, touch, taste, and smell, as well as using your sixth sense of intuition. Much of our awareness is unconscious to us. As we study ourselves, we become more and more self-aware. This is the key to improving decision-making; to make choices that are in alignment with what we want to create in our lives.
Question number two asked me to talk about mindfulness and consciousness as paths to self-awareness. Here is my answer: Mindfulness comes from the Buddhist tradition and is about paying attention to what is happening to us now, in the present moment. It is tuning-in to all experiences, both the good-feeling ones and the negative-feeling ones, in order to feel, learn, and know what is going on within. Instead of shying away from the negative, we stay present and really experience whatever is going on, just as we do when we have fun, joyful experiences. This builds self-awareness and leads to more aware choices in the future.
Much of the time we aren't really paying attention to what is currently happening to us, or to the people with whom we spend time. Instead, we daydream about what we will do in the future or go over and over something in our mind that happened in the past. We find ourselves emotionally reacting to other people or situations when they surprise or bother us, rather than being able to make better choices with our words, actions, and responses. When mindful, we really participate in our moment-to-moment experiences-feeling them, enjoying them, or learning from them. Practicing mindfulness moves us in the direction of greater self-awareness, which allows us the power of choice and to get the most out of our life day to day.
Consciousness is a very expansive thing to describe. One way to understand consciousness is that it is the Universal Intelligence (God, Universe) in which we all live and move and have our being. It is the Source of our existence, our creativity, imagination, intuition, inner knowing, and unconditional love; and it is what responds to our thoughts, feelings, and prayers. To expand our individual consciousness makes us more and more consciously aware.
One way to build conscious awareness is to learn to look below the surface of our experiences. I'll use an iceberg to illustrate consciousness. What is known and conscious to us relates to the part of the iceberg above the water. The larger part of the iceberg, however, is below the surface and unconscious to us. To improve the quality of our lives to become self-aware, it is important to go below the surface to look at our ego-personalities - the issues, patterns, conditioned responses, fears, habits, and attitudes that we want to change. Looking below the surface of our problems and issues, we find causes and, thus, have more information available to help us change, heal, and grow.
An example of how I grew in self-awareness by looking below the surface to understand an issue involved Girl Scout cookies. A few years ago I had an agreement with myself to eat healthier foods. So that year I chose to not buy Girl Scout cookies; however, my two teenage daughters did and kept them in their rooms. One morning one daughter and I got in a heated argument as she left the house for school. I was feeling angry and had tightness in my stomach and gut; and I had no way to communicate my side of the argument at that moment. What did I do? I marched upstairs and opened a box of Thin Mints I found in one of the girls' rooms and began eating them until I settled down. Of course a few minutes later I was angry at myself for breaking the agreement with myself to eat healthier.
I journal-write when I am upset. With that process, what I uncovered below the surface of my awareness that day was that I had a need to not feel my uncomfortable feelings and wanted to quickly get back to a calm, peaceful morning as I had planned. Unfortunately, I did this by eating chocolate and sugar. I then kept writing about the situation, my feelings, what I wanted to say to my daughter, and what I wanted to do next time I got so upset. Basically, I wanted to be more mindful in the future when these situations come up, to feel the uncomfortable feelings and not run away from them, and to journal-write instead of eating cookies. This was new to me-to stop avoiding and to go into my unpleasant feelings. More insights would surface with repeated journaling.
To summarize, there are two important ways to build consciousness and move us along on the path of self-awareness. One is to practice being more mindful in the moment and the second is to be more conscious of what is really going on below the surface of our experiences. Self-awareness really is the key to greater freedom and happiness.
The next question asked me to illustrate a real life "success story" where a couple made a difference in their relationship by becoming more mindful and conscious of their interactions.
One couple came to mind. Ted and Carol started their marriage like a lot of people do-unconsciously. After a year, each was very unhappy about the marriage. They sought professional help which made a huge difference in their lives; and they are very happily married to this day.
Ted didn't have many male friends and depended upon his wife to be his "best friend," lover, and confidante. He was resentful that Carol wanted to spend time with her friends; it often seemed she enjoyed herself more with friends than she did with him. Another aspect of the situation was that Ted had a successful career but didn't feel totally fulfilled in his job, so he expected fulfillment to come from his marriage.
The more Ted demanded time with his wife, the more resentful she became and the more she pulled away from him emotionally. Sometimes Carol would cancel other plans to be with Ted, but only to avoid an argument and his anger. Over time, trying to please her husband created hostility in Carol.
Therapy helped this couple and they each took responsibility for the part they were playing in this drama once it became clear. Time was spent figuring out the cause of the wife's avoidance and to encourage the husband to create some fulfilling things to do outside of work and home.
Carol remembered her parents' boring and hostile marriage. They worked together every day and never seemed to have time apart from one another. When she remembered her parents, Carol said it did not feel good to be around them as they were mean to each other and fought a lot. As conflict grew in her own marriage, Carol wanted space, so she would not repeat what she observed her parents doing. This insight helped Carol be more mindful that there were more options than simply getting away from her husband. For example, she and Ted could have honest discussions about her needs and they could learn constructive ways to resolve conflict.
Ted looked at his issues too and was encouraged to find more things to do with his spare time. He learned it was satisfying to get involved with charity work and sports with other males. This enabled him to develop closer friendships with other men who shared common interests. Suddenly, he wasn't waiting around for his wife anymore. Her respect for him grew, which caused her to want to be with him more. She no longer felt responsible for Ted's happiness. Once both gained insight into their respective family histories and took responsibility for changing themselves, they grew individually and as a couple. Their growth and awareness continues today, many years later.
Question number four asked my views about teaching children and teens these concepts before they face adulthood. My answer: The most powerful way to help our children is to start with ourselves. We can only teach and model what we are, what we believe, and what we know. Without self-awareness and the desire to look below the surface of our issues, we repeat dysfunctional patterns our parents and society taught us.
Take self-esteem, for example, which we all know is important in healthy development. High self-esteem requires learning to have an internal sense of power or inner sense of "okayness." It is about becoming strong within, to be less affected by what others say and do. Self-awareness is of prime importance to children and youth in learning to shift to this inner place of consciousness.
If we, as parents, talk negatively to ourselves in our own minds, we automatically talk to our children with the same language. If we talk critically to our spouse or talk negatively about her/him to others, our children pick up on these feelings and are hurt emotionally.
To positively impact our children's self-esteem, at any age, we need to build our own self-esteem first. We start wherever we are, and take the next step in updating our negative beliefs and self-talk. As you stop judging and criticizing yourself, you will find your self-talk becomes more kind, loving and supportive, and that the words coming out of your mouth towards others will be different. As you build your awareness through self-inquiry, reading books, listening to CD's of wise teachers, or going to therapy, you pass on better thoughts and feelings to your family. One person in a family system can positively impact the whole system. Begin with yourself.
Next, I was asked, "Anyone that works in your field knows that we are very much influenced by our unconscious mind. What can you say about understanding and working with our unconscious better?"
If I had to pick one thing to help one become aware of the unconscious, it would be to spend quality time with yourself each day. Here the intention is self-inquiry, to know yourself at a deeper level through contemplation, meditation, and prayer. Other things that build self-awareness and help you understand what is below the surface are the following:
1. Read a few pages each day in a self-help book that you find applies to your personal challenges and issues.
2. Pay attention to your thoughts and feelings. Journal-write about your conflicts to allow them to become more conscious to you. Feel your feelings - cry if you need to, feel your upset and anger if you need to; allow feelings inside of you to surface.
3. Watch your dreams and daydreams. Look for patterns and messages about your issues, actions, about what you really want. If, for example, you daydream about writing a book often, take this as a serious message from your unconscious. If you dream about moving over and over, you may need to look at your current living situation and consider that the unconscious is nudging you in a new direction, not necessarily to move physically, but to do something different to get unstuck emotionally.
4. Notice if you are envious of anyone. Ask yourself what they have that you want in your life. Then use them as a role model. Observe them to learn how they accomplish what you want to create.
5. Psychotherapy is a supportive way to look at yourself and your problems, to move beyond conditioning from the past, and to find good solutions to life's dilemmas.
6. Ask people you trust to give you honest feedback about you. What do they see as your strengths and weaknesses? Use this simply as a consideration of some things that may be in your blind spot.
7. Remember to acknowledge the things that are working in your life to build gratitude awareness. Make a list every day of the things you are grateful for.
Question number six asked me to explain personal power as used in my book, Enlightening Cinderella. Here is what I said. Personal power is about taking responsibility for your own life. This begins with self-study and becoming a self-aware individual. It includes building a strong foundation of self-esteem and updating dysfunctional beliefs, attitudes, behaviors, and habits to healthy ones. The more you understand yourself, the wiser your choices and ability to solve your problems. It is not about using power over another individual, only with yourself.
Next I was to talk about our bodies and the mind-body connection. We can learn a lot about ourselves through our body awareness. Each ache, pain, symptom, or illness is a whole new language to learn, when we want to understand the metaphor of our symptoms. Our bodies reflect our consciousness and our unresolved emotional issues get buried within our physical bodies.
There are some very helpful authors I turn to when I am ill or want to understand what is behind my physical issues. Louise Hay's book, You Can Heal Your Life and Deb Shapiro's book, Your Body Speaks Your Mind are very powerful resources. Your own meditations are important here too.
The final question asked me to share some personal stories on the topics discussed and relate how I have applied them to my life as a wife, mother, or professional person.
I could talk about all three areas for hours. Let's start with my life as a mother. It was not until the birth of my third daughter that I was introduced to information about self-esteem. I had a master's degree in counseling and I thought I knew a lot about raising children. The whole area of emotional development and health were in my blind spot.
Fortunately life brought me new information. My husband was transferred to a job in Thibodaux, LA in 1979 and I was hired to teach student development courses at Nicholls St. University. Guess what part of the curriculum was. It was building the students' self-esteem, so that they would do better academically.
L. S. Barksdale's, Building Self-Esteem, was part of the course. I learned so much that year. We stayed in Thibodaux less than a year; however, a dear friend I met while teaching there gave me another important book, Your Child's Self-Esteem by Dorothy Briggs.
I could see so much I needed to incorporate in my parenting and marriage. It was not a small job. However, I stayed with it and over the years I can see many important changes in my family. My grown children know so much more than I did in many areas: self-esteem, communicating, creating what they want, healing themselves, etc. They are passing on the good stuff I introduced to them to their kids. It was a long process, starting with healing myself first and then introducing ideas to my family. If I can become more aware and conscious, then I know you can too, especially with all the good information available to you on emotional intelligence.
May the ideas presented here inspire you on your personal journey of expanding awareness through mindfulness and consciousness.

Connect With Your Higher Consciousness - What Is Higher Awareness Connection? By Ernest Z Anton

Connect With Your Higher Consciousness - What is Higher Consciousness Anyways?
Some call the higher consciousness by the various terms. 'God Awareness', 'Christ Consciousness', 'Buddha Consciousness' and 'Shaman Consciousness' are the most prevalent and obviously, these sub-sets of higher consciousness reflect the person's spiritual background. You can call your connection with your higher consciousness whatever you like but first let's discuss exactly what that lofty connection means.
I have to tell you that I got into my higher consciousness connection with a big splash. I drowned and enjoyed a vivid death experience that instantly bestowed on me a higher awareness and with a solid connection. Since then I've had to learn about what I have. I suppose it would be like a university granting a freshman with a doctoral degree at the start of the first term and then having the student spend the next few years of classes learning about what they knew from the start.
On the other hand, it is invariably easier to complete a maze when you start at the end and work towards the start. And I hope this uniquely positions me as a guide because I have unraveled a string to lead us both back to the higher consciousness where you wish to be.
So what is higher consciousness or God awareness? Think of yourself standing in a pristine and verdant forest. You can sharply see the bark of the tree trunks and you are keenly aware of the sunlight and shadows dancing from the foliage overhead as it sways in the gentle breeze. But you can't see the treetops from above and you can't envision your actual placement in nature from your vantage point.
Your higher consciousness though, can see the trees, each individual leaf and the entire forest from any angle it wants to. Your God consciousness knows where you are standing in the woods and it can view the forest's position in the world, in this point in history and in the whole grand scheme of eternity. I will put this in simpler terms: your God awareness is the inner witness that observes your life and it is also the guru on the higher mountaintop who you would seek out to ask 'what is the whole meaning of life?' And when you can fully connect with your higher consciousness, then you will understand.
Now you may be wondering how you can connect with your higher awareness and I'm going to surprise you by answering that 'I'll bet you already have but you were not aware that you were connected to your higher consciousness'.
Have you ever been driving somewhere with questions or concerns on your mind? Then you suddenly realize that a fairly long distance has disappeared entirely from your memory? Where did your awareness go when it vanished? You connected with your higher consciousness and I'm sure that if you think back to that time, you will realize that shortly after the lost time period, you had an epiphany to answer the question or ease the concern you were thinking about before your awareness took a vacation from your mind. Isn't that true?
So you probably have actually connected. Now you want to know how to make the same contact but with a full recollection. Well, that is both easy and difficult. It's easy because all you need do is to disconnect from your physical mind and become the observer. However, that is also difficult because your ego is like a jealous spouse that doesn't ever want to give you any freedom.
Connecting and sharing awareness with my God consciousness is natural for me because of my splash entry. For you to establish your God awareness connection it may take some assistance at first. I think that recordings of binaural beats are the way to go because they can distract your ego and allow your awareness to slip away. But this article's higher purpose was just to talk about what the higher consciousness is.
The real answers to life's questions and mysteries are right in front of you but your mind needs to be shown where to look and how to see. I'm Ernest Z Anton and I'll help you to achieve the astral projection, remote viewing, lucid dreaming or higher consciousness contact that you desire.

What this all comes down to in 2012 is looking Fear straight into the eye and moving THROUGH your emotional resistance to change.
What are we resisting?
We are resisting letting go of our ego. Your ego likes stay in control. It is not aligned with your soul. Your ego is the self-image you have created in your mind over years and years in order to cope. Your self-image is formed in childhood and carries over issues from past lives.
In 2012 you have no choice but to look yourself in the eye and make a choice.
Do you choose to stay ignorant by clinging to your self-image? Will you keep maintaining the egoic lie? Or will you look in the mirror and see the Truth of WHO YOU ARE?
No matter what you decide, you are feeling compelled to change - even if you don't know why.
2012 is a 5 Universal Year.
And 5 is the "Change Agent" number.
It is the only number to face right at the top and left at the bottom AND sit on a rocker.
5 is the Pivot Point. Where Decisions are made. Often quickly, but always there is risk involved. When you risk everything to be free, you embrace timelessness.
You are saying:
"I am not afraid of death, because I am living authentically.
"I am free. I am happy.
"I AM."
Every person's life right now is experiencing change on some profound level resulting in those big "Aha" moments. These "Ahas" create amazing spiritual shifts - Soul-level transformations that are re-aligning you to your purpose.
You are remembering your innate power to create your own reality.
But that can be scary, right?
I know, we all go through it. Who hasn't asked, "Am I good enough?" "Do I have what it takes to succeed?"
"What will my friends and family and colleagues think if I.... (fill in your most glorious wishes HERE)?"
The list goes on and on!
Our minds can figure out eons of ways to keep us stuck in a rut - not just for a year, but for lifetimes.
Here is the Truth. Transformation can only happen when we change from the inside out. When we release everything we THINK we know about ourselves and step through the gateway into the unknown.
When we let go of our Ego.
That is when you become the Conscious Creator of your Life.
Take the energy now and form it to your own liking and pleasure.
Warning: This requires you to be fearless!
And don't fall for the lies about how, if you do what's good for you, you might step on people's toes on your way to success and happiness.
The opposite is actually true!
If you align to your inner truth, your soul's essence, what is right by you will ALWAYS be right by the universe.
Always.
In this important 5 Universal Year - the year of the end of the 26,000 Mayan Baktun calendar when a whole new reality is being created for humanity - make sure you have in place a spiritual routine.
I spoke about this to my Infinity Elite VIP Group this week. A spiritual routine is a daily meditation practice to nourish your SOUL.
Just like you must stretch and exercise your physical body and eat healthily each and every day, so too your soul craves spiritual attention. Feed your soul and your life will change for the better more rapidly than you can imagine.
Find a modality that suits you - daily meditation first thing in the morning works best for me. I don't even get out of bed most of the time before I meditate.
It sets the stage for a wonderful, clear, empowering day (and is a great way to end your day too).
Choose a spiritual routine to help quiet down your mind and open your heart to unconditional love. Immerse your soul in its own brilliance!
You will never regret nourishing your soul.
Your soul is WHO YOU ARE - it is ETERNAL. Your soul is your direct link to God, the Universe, Everything and Everyone.
Nourish your soul and you nourish everything.
You are a member of God You are One with God. You are re-membering this now. It is the most wonderful re-discovery of your life.
Devotion, prayer, inspiration, meditation are your gateway into the kingdom of heaven within you.
Now go and shift your perspective! Release your egoic thoughts and ideas. Stop feeding your self-image. Stop protecting your self-image.
Walk fearlessly into the unknown.
Do so Now!

Ancient Aliens - Modern Man With an Ancient Brain Anomaly -- By Mary M.

Humanity is the progeny of an intergalactic mistake mythologized in the story of the 'original sin.' About 12,000 years ago the genetics of early man were given a fateful twist in evolution. As difficult as it may be to understand, the clues point to something huge in our history that we need to look at. There were ancient aliens and we are a product of their mating with humans.
This topic is messy on many levels. It seems there's not enough proof for those who don't want to see it on the one side. And on the other side, there are those so eager to replace their reality, they want to believe in a new religion based around alien contact. Information can get so out of shape it's difficult to see the real picture.
One thing for sure is that these issues are going to grow in the public eye. And they are not going to go away until they are seen in a true light. Of course, everyone's truth changes according to their own personal evolution. But I think you will find, if you are able to sit in non-judgment, a place inside of you that will resonate with this information. Because the more you look into it, the more undeniable it becomes.
To start, have you ever pondered questions like, 'what is constant this angst inside me?' or why is there so much violence on earth?' and, 'what is evil?' '? If you have then you will know why this topic is tantamount to the next step in human evolution. We know instinctively that something is awry; something is out of sync and doesn't fit together properly.
Like the size of a baby being birthed. Why are humans the only species that have such painful births, like the head is too big for the birth canal or something? How did Nature get that wrong? Why are women in the Middle East, where ancient aliens were said to have landed thousands of years ago, still hiding their bodies today? The statistics on children being sexually abused are astronomical; purportedly 1 in 6 for male children and 1 in 3 for females! What's that about? Why do we allow that and why do we remain in denial about it?
And what about all those UFO sightings that get reported all the time? Surely some are just human activity. But the fact is that billions of stars and planets exist in billions of galaxies many years older than on Earth. Only a complete idiot could hold on to the belief that humans are the pinnacle of existence in the universe.
Advanced beings are a part of our history. More and more archaeologists, ancient text scholars and scientific thinkers are beginning to see it and write about it. The history channel has a growing series about Ancient Astronauts.
Forget about trying to judge whether it is true or not on the scant knowledge you were taught by a failed school system in our overly chaotic and increasingly stressful world. A few hours of real research will be well worth your time. Investigating what it really means to our society to begin accepting our galactic roots will help us not only evolve to the next level, but to also put down our toys and start seeing the world beyond our conceit.
Mary Magdeline writes about the ancient roots of where human suffering and violence really stems from.

2012: The Truth About the End -- By Zri Kolsen

Ah, the time has come at last, hasn't it? Never have numbers been so dreaded as the ones that were lit in New York on New Years Eve, when the ball fell like a massive guillotine, and in the minds of thousands of onlookers, doomed us all. Never have I seen so many people frightened, so many people preparing, and never have I seen so many YouTube videos, books, pamphlets and religious conversions regarding fate post 2012.
I think before we examine the true significance behind 2012, we'll take a look at some of my personal favorite theories about what's going to happen on this so-called fateful year.
One of the smaller theories prevailing is that apparently we're going to suffer a massive pole shift, a magnetic reversal so powerful that our planet will suffer immense disasters great enough to wipe out two thirds of the population.
Now, pole shifts are scientifically proven to occur for our planet. In fact, did you know that Alaska used to be on the equator? A pole shift found it where it is today. It would be more surprising to learn that our planet DOESN'T have pole shifts; the fact that we live in America rather than Pangaea proves that the planet is constantly changing, shifting, and rearranging itself in just about every which way imaginable. But while the earth's magnetic fields have shown a decline lately, there's no reason to link that to 2012. There's speculation in the scientific community that we may enter a pole shift come 2015 to 2017, but the course of a magnetic pole reversal literally takes hundreds to thousands of years to happen. It doesn't happen over the span of a year, and it certainly doesn't happen overnight. And even during the shifts of the poles, there's been no actual report of increased volcanic activity or tectonic shifting.
As for the other type of pole shifting, that being rotational shifting, there is no reason to believe that 2012 will have anything to do with the axis of the earth suddenly shifting position. Whether we're flying through some universal dust cloud or not, it would take massive amounts of energy to barely brush us twenty degrees off axis, let alone flip us all the way around. In actuality, anything hitting us massive enough to flip our axis would probably destroy our planet entirely. So in that case, you might as well hang up your bunker helmet, relax, and have a few last drinks with the rest of us. No amount of reinforcement will save you.
Moving onto the next theory... We have solar flares/solar storms. Apparently massive solar storms are predicted to come in 2012, producing enough radiation to wipe out our technology and civilization as it stands. I'll just be the first to tell you flat out: we have solar flares all the time. They're sometimes responsible for knocking out minor communications temporarily; they bring, at best, sheer inconvenience. While there have been strong solar flares in the past that have knocked out electrical power grids and communications - the price you pay for putting those things in space - it can safely be said that the human race lived on to see another day. The fact is the sun's unpredictable. We can predict solar flares/solar storms about as well as we can predict hurricanes, and if you can show me a report reading that a solar flare killed millions of people, then I've got a house in Florida to sell you.
Ooh, my personal favorite theory is up next on this skeptic's chopping block!
The dreaded Planet X/Planet Nibiru theory.
First of all, I'm not sure where people even drew up the existence of the ancient planet Nibiru. It's first mentioned by someone who goes by the name of Sitchin, who was apparently a self-taught translator of Sumerian cuneiform. This pretty much means exactly what it says. Self-taught means it's bound to be flawed, and compared to the academic works of others, it is. But even as clumsy as Sitchin's work involving the translation of this mystical 12th planet was, he never mentioned anything about the planet crashing into Earth, or crashing into the sun, or causing the planet to stop rotating, or anything of that sort. Nibiru was rather adapted into the farfetched works of a woman from Wisconsin named Nancy Lieder, who claimed that Planet X and Planet Nibiru were one and the same. She also claimed that Halle's Comet didn't exist, that the planet was going to be destroyed in 2003, and that apparently huge objects become invisible when they fly into a special magnetic field near the sun. It's far from my intention to be nasty or condescending, but I think you know where I'm going with this.
Planet X was a hypothetical planet that scientists thought they spotted in the 1930s. Even then they only thought it was another planet because they thought they discovered discrepancies in the orbit of Uranus and Neptune. Long story short, these discrepancies were the result of a miscalculation of Neptune's mass. Planet X was strictly a hypothetical that turned out to be the imaginary result of a mathematical error. Nothing more, nothing less. NASA is not hiding anything from you. There's no truth to hide, save for the fact that someone goofed on a computer, perhaps.
But let's disregard Kepler's Laws - which, I remind you, is required to entertain this theory - and assume that a planet eight times the size of earth somehow managed to get into our solar system, at just the far enough length to go on an extremely eccentric elliptical orbit only to be knocked on track by an asteroid. The fact remains that if an object that size did suddenly stop the planet from turning, the planet would be torn completely apart by the massive amount of energy that would be required. And if I'll take a second to be candid, I'm not sure I understand how a planet crashing into our sun stops our planet for a week only for it to reboot and turn in the opposite direction.
If the planet stopped on a dime and happened to NOT be destroyed by the energy required to brake it (which would be enough to bring entire oceans to a boiling point and - need I remind you - enough to destroy our planet completely, just by the way)... Well, let's examine basic science here if we weren't earlier. The earth rotates at roughly 1100 miles per hour. If the earth stopped rotating that suddenly, the atmosphere would still be shifting at that very speed. That means anything that isn't bedrock is going to be swept up into the atmosphere. Say goodbye to trees, say goodbye to animals, say goodbye to the surface of the earth, say goodbye to... just about everything. Meaning no, your reinforced bunker won't save you.
The simple fact is if something that massive WERE heading our way, it would definitely be visible to the naked eye by now. Even planets a little farther off than our neighbors like Venus and Jupiter are visible at certain times of the year; if something were edging ever closer at a high enough velocity to destroy us, tip us, what have you, be it a large planet eight times the size of earth or even a brown dwarf, trust me, you would see it. I'm not an astronomer, but the fact that I'm able to tell you this confidently should tell you something.
But these popular theories aside...
It's about time to tackle the real issue with why everyone is so wrapped up in the 2012 boogaloo.
Yes, the Mayan calendar.
The Mayan calendar isn't really well studied by many people, and there's actually a reason for that. The Mayan calendar is actually extremely complicated. It's hard to understand unless you actually have a competent grasp on the Mayan culture aside from the broad strokes that history textbooks give you. I will go ahead and say that beyond my classes in world history, I don't really grasp the intricacies of the Mayan culture or likewise, the Mayan calendar. I'm aware that it's speculated that they disappeared off the face of the earth somehow, or a good number of them did, anyway, and I'm also aware that their culture demanded a lot of impressive ingenuity. But I can only give you the basics of the Mayan calendar.
There are 260 days in the Mayan calendar, and it's actually two calendars running simultaneously. One for religious purposes, the other for tracking the solar months. A single day could have up to twenty names, and there's even a month where the days are considered so unlucky that people born on them will die miserable deaths and thus don't have names at all. But the general knowledge everyone shares about it is that it ends on the winter solstice of 2012.
The general conclusion about this is that it means the Mayans predicted the end of the world. Which is basically what happens when you don't associate yourself more closely with the culture perpetuating this so-called prediction.
A lot of the ancient cultures strongly believed that our world revolved into and out of eras in spiritual cycles. Indian myth perpetuates that our world revolves into spiritual 1,000 year long ages called kalpas where virtue falls away before destruction brings renewal, for example. The Mayans believed in something somewhat similar (minus the whole destruction of the universe); that every 5,125 years, the earth will shift spiritually into a new cycle. There are basically five cycles that metaphorically correspond to the time of day; first cycle is obviously morning, second cycle is the midday, third cycle is the afternoon, the fourth cycle is the night, and the fifth cycle is the darkest age before the coming of the first cycle again. If you guessed that 2011 puts us in the fifth cycle, then you guessed correctly.
Basically the Mayans predicted that 2012 would be our shift into a new first cycle. If anything, this shift should mean renewal, rebirth, we'll be revisiting the values we once knew where Nature is revered and God is about love rather than about who's right and who's burning in Hell. Or well, that's what it SHOULD mean, but that's essentially up to us. If we continue to fall victim to human limitations such as greed, negativity, materialism, anger, pride, all the things that confine us to the transient and superficial, then 2012 may very well have all the momentum to be destructive and horrific in ways that make us wish those other theories were plausible. There is no greater destruction than the destruction of the spirit.
More and more I've been thankfully seeing this awakening. Or at least, I'm seeing it more in the people I've been around; people are beginning to have insights into the true nature of spirituality. A lot has changed around where I've grown up and while it's taken a while, there's been a great shift in mentality. I remember when there were KKK marches around my town, people discriminated against homosexuality, and quite frankly I was in the midst of a sea of people using scripture to justify hypocritical condemnation of those who thought differently than they did. But nowadays? While I wouldn't be surprised to find people still exhibiting these traits, and I still have encountered a few that use scripture to justify discrimination, it's become pleasantly rarer nowadays. People are beginning to realize more and more of the truth. People are changing. It's been a slow process and it will continue to be a slow process, but the world just isn't rigid black and white anymore. While it's a double edged sword for sure, our ability to exchange and learn information instantaneously has made us thirst for education. We're no longer satisfied with 'it's just the way things are', and we're not taking 'don't question it or you're bad' as an answer.
Or at least, a good lot of the people I see nowadays certainly aren't. People are also realizing the truth that unfortunately some religions are more about business and less about the good of their congregations. We have the ability to step forward and change all of that, or at least, that's in accordance to the Mayan prophecy of 2012. That is the truth of 2012. It's not destruction, it's not doomsday, it's not a catastrophe. It has the potential to be, but I think with enough people waking up, there's a chance.
Or maybe that's just me being overly optimistic, but I do like to dream as anyone else, after all.

Galactic Alignment: 2012 - Part 4 -- By Will Edwards

Expert Author Will Edwards
Some commentators writing about the 2012 phenomenon have drawn attention to the Galactic alignment that is set to take place on December 21, 2012. They say that this will align the solstice sun with the galactic equator and that this event happens every 26,000 years. You know, whilst that is true, that statement it is also a bit economical with the truth.
The fact is that the alignment of the winter solstice sun with the galactic equator has occurred every year since 1980. It is true that, because of the precession of the equinoxes (a fancy name for the earth's wobble on its axis) that what has been an annual event since 1980 will eventually cease and, when that happens, it will not return for another 26,000 years. Now that's the truth.
So do we have anything to fear because of such an alignment? No! As I said, it has happened each year for the last 32 years and nobody got sucked into a black hole. By the way, there is a black hole at the centre of the Milky Way as a recent study has shown. But it is nothing to be concerned about. The current theory is that black holes are probably necessary for the formation of galaxies.
In short, there is nothing to worry about... at least, for the time being!
But some things never change, so after that, we are all likely to be here to worry about the next doomsday prediction which will concern the year 2036.
The asteroid Apophis will will pass within 5 Earth diameters (18,600 miles) in 2029. Now, that's a near miss, but here's what people will be writing about after we all survive 2012. Why? Because there is just a possibility that the path of the asteroid could be deflected by Earth's gravity and put it on a collision course with us in, you guessed it, 2036!
What's the truth about this event? Well, NASA cannot say what will happen with sufficient accuracy for the prediction to be useful, just now that is. So, we are sure to be faced with many similar predictions after 2012. You might have thought that Y2K was all over, but you know something? In the year 2038, it is due for a reprise. Yes, indeed, we will all be talking about Y2K38 if we survive Apophis.
You heard it here first;)
Anyway, enough of this doom and gloom. Here's how we can make 2012 memorable. Perhaps even a year to remember.
There was a book that came out a few years ago that basically suggested that people might think about living their lives as if they only had a few weeks to live. As odd as that may sound, perhaps that might not be a bad idea. If you knew you only had just over 1 yearleft to live, what would you do with your time? What would be the most important things to do? Which things would lose their apparent importance to you?
You might like to think about making a bucket list of all the things you would want to do before you finally expire. The exercise, whilst it may sound a little morbid at first, can actually turn out to be quite a bit of fun. Perhaps such a focus would help us to see what is really important in life. Why not do your part to improve the lives of those around you? Be nice to people, be polite, and treat others as you would have them treat you.
If we all did that between now and next year perhaps we might see a really dramatic change. Perhaps a new age really could begin in 2012 if we all did that. We might be finally ready to welcome in a new age of tolerance, kindness and consideration.
What do you think, shall we give it a go?

It's 2012 - Is the 'Shift' Coming? -- By Laura Norman

Do a search right now and you'll find an avalanche of information, opinion and warnings about the 2012 'phenomena'. Countless books, movies, websites, blogs and TV shows are feeding our desire to make sense of long standing ancient prophecies predicting huge shifts, ranging from the earth's magnetic poles switching to the surface of the earth moving.
And, while the torrent of predictions makes for good theater, what is really shifting? The internal changes within each of us are at the core of shifts taking place that will affect all humanity. Consider the growing tidal wave from the democratization of access to and creation of news, information, opinion and education via the Internet. Long-standing authoritarian governments continue to fall around the world as people become aware of better ways of being and living.
We are in the midst of a great shift in consciousness that is almost palpable. Many of us are experiencing a feeling of time speeding up, a questioning of who we are and what life is about, and a search for new ways of living. Change is in the air... but what kind of change?
Some talk of the shift as one from 'left-brain' to 'right-brain' thinking. The left-brain is egoistic, based in logic and tightly linked to the concept of time - 'The Mind.' The right brain is egoless, highly intuitive and time-transcendent - 'The Heart.' Is there evidence for this left-to right brain shift? Creativity is growing rapidly (just look at the huge number of books and the broad range of art, video, music, theater and dance available.) New micro-communities spring up every day to help people re-connect to share their knowledge and experiences.
Beyond the 2012 doom and gloom in the media, our real destination is the bright promise of an entirely different world, based in consciousness rather than power. As we remember more and more how to experience our spirit-mind-body wholeness, we have the potential to transcend our old ways of being and come to live together in joy, peace and harmony.
As 2012 begins, my New Year's resolution for all of us is to make positive choices - to take our past year's experiences and turn them into opportunities for growth in the New Year. To discover new ways to improve our lives - and the lives of those whom we care about - by joyfully embracing both our human and spiritual potential.

Will the Age of Aquarius Give Birth to a More Beautiful Creation? -- By John Casanova

If you are keen to know about the end of the world, how it will happen, or how we shall die, we cannot ignore the observations made by astrologers. Many stargazers have concluded that the planet Earth rounds the sun and, in this process, it also passes through each of the 12 zodiac signs for about 2150 years each.
We are currently in the age of Pisces and shall soon enter the Age of Aquarius. Many observers have forecast that the dawning of the Age of Aquarius shall bring about the end of the world but we still do not know the validity of this argument. It might be true as it can also be just a mere legend.
There must therefore be reasons why the old star gazers predicted the end of the world for the year 2012. It is assumed that we shall bid farewell to the Age of Pisces and shall welcome the Age of Aquarius in the year 2012, more specifically, on December 21. The Aquarian age is believed to start in 2012 and to last till 4172. What is considered to be so dreadful with the dawning of the Aquarian age is that Aquarius has two ruling planets Saturn and Uranus. The combining effects of these two planets are considered as not being a good sign because Uranus is a revolutionary, terrible, catastrophic planet while Saturn, reminds us of chaos, the return to the point of original departure.
Moreover, it is believed that the dawning of the Aquarian age will means creating everything afresh and if we go along with this prediction, we can conclude that when we shall welcome the age of Aquarius, there will be the degeneration of the Earth so that everything can be created afresh. There will be recreation after the destruction and the result will be mesmerizing.
Pisces, which is represented by the fish symbolized the age of Christianity that is, it was in the Age of Pisces that Jesus came on Earth as a savior. Now with the Age of Aquarius, the whole of humanity is afraid that the world will eventually collapse. Many are those who believe that when we shall enter the age of Aquarius, those who have a pure heart will be blessed and they will go to heaven...we are still unable to decide what will eventually happen when we shall set foot in the Aquarian era, will we die, will there be enlightenment or the creation of a more beautiful world...the mystery can be revealed only in the year 2012.
Do you want to learn more what the Mayan predicted about 2012. Then have a look at the the 2012 reality. It will show you not only what the Mayans predicted but also what others have said about 2012.

Controlled Disclosures of the UFO Cover-Up: Part 3 -- By R. R. Stark

The Extraterrestrial Agenda What do the extraterrestrials really want with humanity or our planet in general? And is our government doing something about it? As I said before, I think the ETs are highly curious about life on Earth, but perhaps they're especially concerned about those dangerous humans that are bent on self- annihilation - especially via thermonuclear war, if not mass toxic chemical mudslinging. Certain humans are suicidal by nature anyway. Does this reflect all of mankind on a subconscious level? I hope not. I think there are just a few bad nuts in the bag. But will those curious aliens lift a spindly finger to sabotage our self-destruct mechanism, or idly watch us flush ourselves down the toilet? Obviously they think there's no intelligent life down on this third boulder from the Sun. And they're probably right. Otherwise we would have already figured out a way to leave this rock and fly out into space and visit other worlds, just like our alien friends have been doing all along. Just how prepared are we if we ever come face to face with these aliens? Will the first contact scenario be a highly enlightening experience? Or will it be a trick that leads to an actual alien invasion (as suggested by cheesy movies)? Will we the public ever come in contact with these ETs? Would our government welcome first contact, or would they try to suppress it? If the government is that paranoid and fearful, perhaps they would try to cover it up, not allowing aliens to reveal themselves. For our own good, of course. In the meantime, we currently have the problem of what to do about the mysterious ET phenomenon and all those UFOs people are witnessing, not to mention countless reports on abductions, implants, cattle mutilations, etc. So what is our government doing about all this? I think they're doing what they do best -- or is it worse? -- which is to gather information, then perhaps just sit back and try to put all the puzzle piece together, and keep them all to themselves. I think they're still working on assembling the big picture though. But chances are they probably still know more than the public. And they're not going tell us anything until they're good and ready. The deepest secrets are allegedly still held by the government and military, so we may know the bare gist of the whole picture. Although a lot of information has been circulated over the decades, how much do we really know? How many secrets have slipped out or been revealed, and how many are still concealed? And how much of this information has been muddled up with lies and deception? Is it possible we have more disinformation than real information? Of course, there have been countless UFO eyewitnesses from civilians and Air Force personnel alike, or other sources, and alien abduction reports, but all this has been suppressed or ridiculed, and then the government slips in a lot of disinformation, muddling up any valuable information. Hiding and confusing the truth is part of the whole cover-up scenario, and so we can't be too sure of what we think we know. At one time, a big lid had been clamped down on the reality of reverse-engineering alien technology. Now this information is circulating into the public. Col. Philip J. Corso was one of the whistleblowers responsible for getting this information out when he wrote his popular book, The Day after Roswell. But also, reporters were given certain bits of UFO information, but a lot of this ended up in the tabloids, and although many people believe what these pretentious magazines say, a lot of skeptics still reject them. Believe me, I'm one of the biggest skeptics of the tabloid magazines! I think it's 99% total bunk! And 1% questionable bunk. On the other hand, perhaps these sensationalist rags are the perfect avenue for the "truth" to be trickled out into the masses, because the government depends on skeptics, while the believers are considered to be crackpots. But then there are degrees of skepticism. I believe I am right in the middle of the diehard skeptic and the blindly open-minded. For instance, I believe there are countless UFO hoaxes, and perhaps only a smaller percentage are actual alien spacecraft. I totally disbelieve that President Clinton ever shook the hand of one of those bulb-headed grey aliens as the tabloids once suggested. I completely reject the idea that Men in Black are alien/human hybrids; I think they're just government agents attempting to silence witnesses of sightings and encounters and abductions. Also, I emphatically reject the conspiracy theory that the US Moon landings of the Apollo missions were totally falsified, which would mean the history books are blatantly lying if mankind never set foot on the Moon (one small miss-step for man, one giant fallback for mankind!). However, there may have been some staged dramatizations created for our benefit, since some of the footage was highly questionable as to their authenticity. I most definitely believe that certain astronauts did in fact witness sightings during their missions and that the government tried to silence them, allowing none of this information into the public. Plus I've heard that many NASA photos and footage are not being allowed for public viewing either. What are they hiding? And I highly doubt that the Rapture will involve Jesus coming down in a flying saucer and rescuing us from a lost-cause of a planet. I can go on and on, but I won't bore you further. I consider myself a healthy skeptic and likewise a rationally open-minded conspiracy nut; hence, maintaining a vague quasi-healthy balance. But if you still think I'm a crackpot, you have a right to your opinion. In conclusion, the government is obviously covering up a lot of information and activity regarding the UFO and ET phenomenon, because they're hiding something they don't want us to know about. The question is: what? And why are they hiding it from us? Why must they inject into the public mainstream a lot of disinformation which only causes confusion and adds to the ongoing cover-up? Obviously the idea of their control over any kind of disclosure actually means there will be no disclosure from the government anytime soon. Something would have to radically change for that to occur. Like a real alien in a real UFO landing on the White House lawn, coming out and shaking the hand of the president. Just like the tabloids suggest! To conclude, I believe the old saying is true, "Fact is stranger than fiction." But here's a new one: Facts are often concealed by fiction. Copyright 2006 -2011 by R.
